What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Install, patch, maintain, and monitor Oracle databases
- Create and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries and shell scripts
- Perform routine security and authentication measures for database systems
- Oversee daily operations of My License One (MLO) and My License 1 (ML1) applications
- Document all activities, processes, or other work related to database management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL queries
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Ability to provide maintenance support for database systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Background in mentoring junior staff or team members
- Knowledge of database tuning and troubleshooting techniques
- Prior experience in supporting reporting products for governmental agencies
