What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Understand user needs and create systems that improve operations and support the growth of the college
- Act as a liaison between users and technical resources, documenting needs and objectives
- Analyze and document business functions and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Conduct technical and functional testing to ensure systems meet specifications
- Develop user documentation and assist in creating training materials for applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience
- 2+ years' experience as a business or applications analyst or comparable experience
- 2+ years of experience using SQL
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5-10 or more years of related software development experience
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
- Skills in organization and planning to manage priorities effectively
