What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Configure business rules on the employer's Business Rules Platform and analyze existing configurations
- Support the Senior Business Analyst in gathering and documenting system requirements
- Develop and document user acceptance test (UAT) plans and ensure timely completion of testing
- Assist in the resolution of production support issues and collaborate with internal IT teams
- Identify areas for improvement in processes and systems to enhance customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of property and casualty insurance work experience
- Strong understanding of personal lines IT property and casualty insurance projects and related technologies
- Experience with insurance policy administration systems or business rules platforms
- Knowledge of data concepts and how data is transformed across platforms
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions with minimal guidance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior consulting experience in insurance policy administration and rules management
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
- Experience with 3rd party insurance data sources and interfaces such as ISO, LexisNexis, and IVANS
