- Actively manage execution of projects from Initiation all the way till Delivery and Closer while following all ITP guidelines.
- Actively manage scope, budget, timelines. Mitigate any risks.
- Execute projects in Waterfall, Agile or Iterative methodology. Conduct status meetings, Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with other IT partners.
- Collaborate with IT vendor partners for SOW, onboarding, and execution.
- Keep business sponsors abreast with progress.
- Provides IT support, counsel to junior/contract delivery leads.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Seven (7) years of Information Technology experience required.
- Four (4) years’ experience managing projects in multiple technologies and functions required.
- Project management tool and methodology in-depth knowledge required.
- Preferred certifications are PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe
- In-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Proven skills in managing within a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate vision, mission, and goals to both business and IT audiences.
- Sound understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives.
- Knowledge of the techniques and ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Positive, can-do attitude, adaptable to change.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) has an exciting IT Delivery Manager 1 opportunity available within our IT Strategy, Planning and Delivery area.
About the Role
This IT Delivery Manager 1 supports delivery of all IE (Informatics Environment) projects. The role is expected to know all ITPG processes in BCBSM. Support/manage one or more large-sized, highly complex enterprise-wide projects. Guide, mentor, and support junior/contract delivery leads. Monitor the project scope, budget, timelines. It requires experience working on complex projects with multiple IT departments. Ability to work as Primary lead or secondary lead on projects. Ability to run projects in Waterfall, Agile and Iterative methodology.
