- Provide leadership and mentorship to a small team managing infrastructure, networking, and desktop environments
- Design and support hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure), virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), and enterprise monitoring
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware including firewalls, switches, and wireless systems across all locations
- Ensure high availability and performance of server applications and network systems
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain a secure and compliant environment
- Provide advanced system administration and operational support for Windows-based workloads in both cloud and on-premises environments
- Implement enterprise monitoring and capacity planning tools
- Manage vendor relationships and escalate support issues as needed
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Have experience with patch management for Windows and 3rd party applications
- Support and guide junior team members in technical development
- 5+ years of experience in network/server administration in a multi-site enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with virtualization (Nutanix or VMWare ESX) , Microsoft server technologies, Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS/DHCP, security and networking
- Advanced knowledge of switching, and firewall technologies
- Experience with backup and restore solutions
- Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and manage cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional evening/weekend work

Overview
Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a hands-on and strategic IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-wide infrastructure. This role is critical to supporting our retail, distribution, and corporate environments, and plays a key part in our technology roadmap. If you're passionate about technology—and pets—this is the place for you! This position will be hybrid with 3 days in the office (M-W).
