      Position Overview

      We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT SAP ERP Plan-to-Make Functional Analyst with a strong manufacturing focus to join our company-wide SAP support team. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to analyze business needs, optimize manufacturing processes, and design effective SAP solutions that support both the business unit and BWXT enterprise wide. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, end users, and key stakeholders to translate requirements into best-practice system configurations that enhance operational performance.

      Your Day-to-Day as an IT SAP Plan-to-Make Functional Analyst

      Requirement Analysis
      • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document manufacturing process requirements.
      • Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.

      Solution Design & Configuration
      • Design SAP solutions that meet manufacturing business needs.
      • Configure SAP ERP to enable required manufacturing processes and capabilities.
      • Partner with technical teams on necessary customizations or enhancements.

      Implementation & Testing
      • Lead and participate in SAP manufacturing solution implementations.
      • Conduct thorough testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and function reliably.

      User Training & Support
      • Train end users on new or enhanced manufacturing processes.
      • Provide ongoing support to resolve manufacturing-related issues and maintain smooth system operations.

      Documentation
      • Develop detailed documentation for SAP solutions, configurations, and processes.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date materials for future reference and training.

      Continuous Improvement
      • Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes and system functionality.
      • Stay current on SAP updates, emerging capabilities, and manufacturing best practices.

      Required Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
      • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
      • Proven success as an SAP ERP Functional Analyst with expertise in manufacturing modules, including quality management (PP, QM, PS) and integration with FICO, SD, MM, IM, WM, and PM.
      • Deep understanding of SAP manufacturing processes and system configurations.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
      • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
      • Must be a U.S. citizen.
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.


      Preferred Additional Qualifications:
      • SAP certification in manufacturing modules.
      • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and migrating from SAP ECC.
      • Knowledge of integration points between SAP manufacturing and other SAP modules.
      • Deeper experience with SAP ERP modules including MM, IM, WM.

      Pay: $86,000 - $136,000

      The base salary range for this position in Florida (US-FL) at the start of employment is expected to be between $86,000 and $136,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
