      Duties


      • You will perform work that involves developing, delivering or supporting IT systems and services.
      • You will develop, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of all IT programs.
      • You will manage and allocate resources to develop, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of all IT programs.
      • You will lead and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly ensuring appropriate succession, and lead others to accomplish complex, cross-organizational goals.

      Requirements


      • Must be a US Citizen.
      • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
      • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

      • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

      • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
      • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
      • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
      • Generally, current Federal employees applying to STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.

      Qualifications


      NO-02 (GS-5-8):
      Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band NO-01 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with performing work that involves developing, delivering or supporting IT systems and services. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

      NO-03 (GS 9-10):
      Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band NO-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing resources to plan, develop, implement, and maintain programs, polices, and procedures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems, networks, and data. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

      NO-04 (GS 11-12):
      Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band NO-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical IT issues. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

      NO-05:
      Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly ensuring appropriate succession, and lead others to accomplish complex, cross-organizational goals. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
