      IT Supplier Manager

      Salary: Circa £55,000 National / Circa £60,000 London

      This role will suit an experienced IT Performance Manager looking to move into a fast paced and diverse organisation. We need someone with a strong IT Performance Management background, who understands technology, and has solid experience in maximising value from IT Supplier relationships.

      A bit about the job:

      This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our CIO Technology Platforms Supplier Performance Team. You’ll play a meaningful role in the team by driving the performance of our key IT suppliers, which directly impacts on Aviva’s IT Systems and landscape, ensuring high levels of system availability for our customers.

      • Hold suppliers to account for their performance based on measures and metrics such as SLAs and KPIs.
      • Manage supplier governance, ensuring effective and timely reporting, to drive optimum outcomes for Aviva.
      • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to maximise contract value.
      • Simplify processes and improve customer outcomes.
      • Build strong relationships with Stakeholders to drive on-going performance improvements, ensuring these are led by accurate reporting and monitoring.
      • Be involved in change activity and new projects to ensure performance management rigour in the initial design phases.
      • Manage risks and adherence to our control frameworks.

      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • Strong IT Performance Management skills and experience, and a deep understanding of performance management frameworks and techniques.
      • Experience in managing significant outsourced IT arrangements or major IT vendors.
      • We want a customer champion. You will always have our customers in mind when making decisions. You encourage others to do the same.
      • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships fast at various levels of seniority.
      • Strong negotiation skills with the ability influence suppliers and internal stakeholders.

      • Salary Circa: £55,000 National / £60,000 London (location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
      • Bonus opportunity of 10% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s)
