What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with senior technical staff to define and implement IT controls and processes that meet cybersecurity requirements
- Take technical ownership of internal networks and VPNs, including maintenance of network topology and infrastructure
- Create and enforce policy documents regarding passwords, device management, and regulatory compliance
- Patch and maintain employee computers and servers, ensuring optimal performance
- Manage user accounts and system backup processes while troubleshooting internal IT issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, or Google Admin user administration
- Proficient in networking configuration, administration, and management
- VPN administration experience with scripting skills in PowerShell, Linux bash, or Windows BAT
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems administration, including server patching and hardware maintenance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting teams in Radiation Oncology or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti networking equipment and WireGuard VPN
- Experience with Synology NAS
- CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or CASP+ certification
- Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or certifications from ISC2 or ISACA (CISA)
