What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, track, and manage new project opportunities in the Northeastern US Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) market
- Develop and maintain client portfolios, fostering new relationships and partnerships
- Oversee project execution, including planning program goals and establishing execution plans
- Provide technical leadership in the design and operation of ITS systems
- Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting cost or schedule
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Extensive experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) network communications and related technologies
- Proven track record of delivering complex ITS projects and managing client relationships
- Technical expertise in Traffic Management Centers, Traffic Signal Controllers, and Traffic Control Software
- Strong project management skills, including proposal development and pricing
- Ability to negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) technologies
- Involvement in professional organizations related to ITS or transportation management
- Familiarity with advanced transportation management systems and decision support systems
- Knowledge of integrated corridor management and roadway traffic operations
