      ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

      What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

      We are looking for an expert Continuous Improvement manager that will be responsible for to assess, monitor, and enhance Integrated Work System (IWS) performance for the GLT plant in Akora Khattak Factory sophisticated. In this role, you will analyze current practices and develop process improvements as well as implement changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance.

      What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

      The role is responsible for leading the BAT continuous improvement program (IWS) and drives teamwork across the facility and extended team to deliver strategic Continuous Process Improvement initiatives. The incumbent plays a key role in IWS governance and initiatives. The incumbent will use data and analytics to identify sources of losses, engage with key partners to identify root causes, develop sound solutions, and implement improvements that drive loss elimination.

      WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

      • Identify and implement new initiatives with key partners to develop, champion, and launch new initiatives. Internal Consultant: Act and operate as an internal consultant, working directly with multiple partners, management, and various related departments be able to optimize team performance.
      • Work closely with the leadership team to help deliver solutions that are relevant to the business needs and in line with the organization strategy.
      • Work closely with the IWS pillar leads and guiding them on the IWS elements.
      • Coordination with regional pillar leads and updating local pillar leads on IWS phase progression.
      • Drive change management and communications strategy and plan by collaborating with business managers and subject matter authorities to land the transformation within organization.
      • Own, maintain, and seek continuous improvement program governance.
      • Develop coaching competence and culture within the Leaf function and promote a positive learning environment and to ensure that learning outputs are directed to organization requirements.
      • Lead and coach the extended teams, who in turn other employees to meet manufacturing goals and support strategic direction of function.
      • Tracks and analyzes performance metrics and uses data to recommend improvements and identify process improvements.
      • Participate in organizational change processes and helps others to understand reasons for change.
      • Drives value stream implementation projects with a focus on continuous improvement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
      • Plans budget and leads costs related to operational excellence initiatives.

      EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

      Experience Required

      • The candidate should have at least 5years of experience in a similar role to demonstrate competence.
      • Experience in implementing continuous improvement capabilities within an organization.
      • Shown experience in developing, coaching, implementing Operational Excellence capabilities and continuous improvements across the value stream.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
      • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills and numerical proficiency.

      Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

      • Hands-on experience using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods.
      • Exhibit a “can do” demeanour and be comfortable with multitasking and have a good understanding of time critical requirements.
      • Possess high potential, strong technical and interpersonal skills.
