What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and implement REST endpoints in Java 17+ with Spring Boot for mobile applications
- Optimize payloads and error handling to enhance user experience over cellular networks
- Translate business rules into reliable backend logic and coordinate API versioning with frontend peers
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure mobile workflow integrity
- Monitor production APIs and troubleshoot issues to minimize app errors and time-outs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Solid experience building backend services in Java 17+ and Spring Boot
- Proven experience crafting RESTful APIs for mobile or web clients
- Habitual TDD practitioner to prevent regressions in critical mobile paths
- Comfortable analyzing production logs and metrics for live-site issue resolution
- Intermediate/Advanced English communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with PostgreSQL (Aurora/RDS) and JPA/Hibernate
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Jenkins and Terraform
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Grafana
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Previous mentorship experience in software development
