What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the planning and execution of pre-award activities related to solicitations and contract proposals
- Conduct evaluations of vendor quotations and proposals, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Participate in contract award activities, including documentation preparation and contractor responsibility assessments
- Monitor contractor performance and assist in quality assurance throughout the contract lifecycle
- Review and assess payment-related information to determine cost allowability and authorize invoice payments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of contracting experience in a GS 1102 or equivalent role
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication skills to convey accurate information effectively
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related guidelines
- Ability to work at a workstation for extended periods and perform detailed analysis

- Experience with the Department of Defense contracting processes
- Knowledge of pricing analysis and contract modification procedures
- Understanding of quality assurance measures in contract management
