      Launch Your Data Analytics Career Supporting National Security

      Radiance Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Advanced Trade Analytics Platform (ATAP). In this role, you will work alongside data scientists, engineers, and government stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, machine learning initiatives, and mission-focused decision-making.

      This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build technical skills while contributing to programs that directly support national security and trade enforcement.

      What You'll Do

      • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.


      • Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.


      • Assist with the development, testing, and implementation of analytical tools and software.


      • Prepare data for analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.


      • Support data scientists and analysts in research, modeling, and analytical projects.


      • Develop reports, dashboards, and technical documentation.


      • Perform data quality reviews and validation activities.


      • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.


      • Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.


      • Participate in Agile development activities and team collaboration efforts.


      Required Qualifications

      Education

      Bachelor's degree in:

      • Data Science


      • Statistics


      • Mathematics


      • Computer Science


      • Operations Research


      • Information Systems


      • Analytics


      • Or a related quantitative discipline


      Experience

      • Two (2) years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, statistics, computer science, operations research, or related fields.


      • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for required experience.


      Knowledge & Skills

      • Understanding of data analytics, statistics, data visualization, and databases.


      • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages used in analytics environments.


      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


      • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


      • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.


      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience supporting federal, DHS, CBP, defense, intelligence, or law enforcement programs.


      • Familiarity with Python, SQL, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.


      • Exposure to machine learning concepts and methodologies.


      • Experience working with large datasets and reporting solutions.


      Security Requirements

      • Active Top Secret security clearance required.


      • Ability to obtain and maintain access to DHS and CBP systems and facilities.
