What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain plans for imagery and analytics acquisition to support various use cases
- Utilize tools such as ArcGIS Pro and QGIS for data processing and analysis
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on analytic outputs for customer programs
- Research global events, actors, and trends to inform analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Demonstrated research and communication skills
- Experience working with GIS data and satellite imagery, including image processing and analysis
- Proficiency with imagery and GIS tools, including Esri software and QGIS
- Ability to write Python scripts for data insights and geospatial processes
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with at least six months of relevant professional experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with imagery-derived analytics and graphic design software
- Experience in imagery interpretation with a defense/intelligence focus
- Skills in generating finished GIS or imagery products
- Knowledge of GIS tool creation using ArcPy or QGIS plugins
- Experience with Power BI for data analysis
