      What We’re Looking For in a Highly Qualified Candidate:

      English Language Arts Teacher

      • Deep understanding of reading and writing instruction aligned with grade-level standards

      • Ability to foster a love of literature while building foundational literacy and analytical skills

      • Skilled in guiding students through the writing process, from brainstorming to revision

      • Strong use of data to drive instruction and close reading gaps

      • Experience with differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Master’s preferred)

      • Valid Michigan teaching certification or the ability to obtain one

      • Previous classroom experience at the middle school level strongly preferred

      • Demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and growth

      • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

      Salary Range: Starting pay 50,000.00 (negotiable)
      Pay increases based on experience.

      Starting Date: 2025 - 2026 School Year

      Retirement: 401K with 4% and another 4% matching by the school
