- 2:00/3:00pm - 5:30/6:00pm
- Help teachers maintain a productive learning environment in the classroom.
- Help teachers maintain cleanliness in the classroom.
- Know where the students are at all times.
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play.
- Read and interact with students to promote learning.
- Demonstrate ability to use independent judgment and initiative to support children in learning and safety.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Basic knowledge of child development

TITLE: Kids Klub Assistant Teacher
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Hourly
DEPARTMENT: St Giles Preschool, 1101 Columbian Ave., Oak Park, IL 60302
HOURLY RATE: $16.50
REPORTS TO: Kids Klub Supervisor and Director of Early Childhood
HOURS NEEDED PER WEEK:
Monday - Friday
Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
PRIMARY PURPOSE/POSITION SUMMARY:
To assist the classroom teacher in providing a warm, nurturing environment where children can grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
