      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct research on state and local government finances in California
      - Assist financial experts in preparing short articles and longer studies on taxes, spending, and government debt
      - Participate in professional development training every Thursday from 1-4 PM ET
      - Collaborate with non-profit partners and Stand Together Fellowships staff
      - Attend an in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a student in economics, accounting, business, or related fields with a strong interest in numbers
      - Authorization to work in the U.S. throughout the duration of the program
      - Availability for virtual training sessions every Thursday from 1-4 PM ET
      - Commitment to attend the in-person summit on June 3-4 at Stand Together's Headquarters
      - Strong interest in public policy and the mission of California Policy Center

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience or coursework related to public finance or government policy
      - Familiarity with research methodologies and data analysis
      - Strong written communication skills for preparing articles and reports
      - Passion for advancing liberty and free society principles
      - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
