Description
We are seeking a Korean-speaking legal assistant/paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will work as part of a team to support attorneys in all matters related to litigation. Hybrid Position (Onsite 4 Days, Remote 1 Day)

Responsibilities
• Case Management: Maintain organized physical and digital files for complex business litigation cases; track deadlines and manage the firm's master calendar.
• Translation & Interpretation: Translate legal correspondence, contracts, and evidence (emails, texts, memos) from Korean to English and vice versa. Provide live interpretation during client meetings, intake interviews, and occasionally during preparation for depositions.
• Legal Drafting: Prepare shells for pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and basic motions.
• Discovery & E-Discovery: Assist with the collection and "Bates stamping" of documents, specifically ensuring Korean-language documents are correctly categorized for review.
• Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean-speaking business owners and executives, providing status updates and gathering necessary documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum:
• No experience is required, but 1-2 years of experience in administrative/accounting or legal work is preferred
Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Native or fluent in Korean (reading, speaking, and writing)
• Excellent time-management and organizational skill
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Experience in construction is a strong plusAbout the company
