What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the Labor Compliance Program for non-construction related projects and oversee compliance activities for agency grant-funded initiatives
- Develop and facilitate labor compliance training programs for grantees and stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with labor regulations and respond to issues related to prevailing wages and community benefits agreements
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to labor compliance regulations and procedures
- Implement workforce development initiatives to enhance project delivery across the agency's annual capital program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of three years (for Associate Level) or five years (for Senior Level) of relevant professional program administration experience
- Knowledge of California Labor Code, California Code of Regulations, and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts
- Experience with labor compliance monitoring and auditing agreements for compliance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) project implementation and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to foster strategic partnerships with government and private entities
- Familiarity with labor compliance monitoring systems, such as LCPtracker
- Experience in creating and maintaining policies and operating procedures
- Knowledge of Skilled and Trained Workforce rules and regulations
