What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor certified payroll submissions for both self-performed and subcontracted public works projects
- Prepare and review certified payroll reports to ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws
- Maintain required project documentation and assist with labor compliance audits
- Generate, review, and upload XML files using labor compliance platforms
- Conduct periodic audits and address urgent labor compliance inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of experience in certified payroll, labor compliance, or a related compliance role
- Hands-on familiarity with certified payroll content and prevailing wage laws such as the Davis-Bacon Act
- Working knowledge of labor compliance systems and related documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and handle sensitive information
