      The Laboratory Manager will

      • oversee operational responsibilities for the Englewood laboratory
      • Work to reduce overtime and meet all turnaround time goals
      • Ensure efficient workflows, productions, and communications are being carried out on all shifts
      • Support Technical Supervisors to meet their productivity and quality goals to ensure laboratory is meeting regulatory requirements
      • Work as a liaison across multiple divisions including, but not limited to, technical laboratory, send-outs and referrals, logistics, commerical and quality
      • Perform quality assurance checks to make sure that the technical departments are meeting goals and assist in corrections as needed
      • Responsible for communicating test delays or issues that occur within the Englewood laboratory
      • Strategize process improvements across departments
      • Track staffing and instrument needs to support workload
      • Develop and grow staff to meet ongoing challenges

      Pay Range: 96k-140k

      Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, schedule will adapt to support business neeeds

      Job Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Business Administration or related field
      • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
      • Experience in a high volume, high throughput clinical laboratory
      • Proven success in training and developing staff
      • Proves success in adjusting workflow to best utilize resources
      • Comfortability making decisions in a fast paced, ever changing environment
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions under minimal supervision
