What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for various projects, including industrial, healthcare, and residential developments
- Prepare land development design and permitting documents
- Ensure project financial performance and maintain client relations
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to discuss design and permitting needs
- Supervise design team activities and manage projects of varying sizes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience on complex projects
- PE licensure in Florida or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, and stormwater management
- Experience in developing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, ArcGIS, and other relevant software
- Knowledge of land development construction codes and regulations
- Experience with green initiative programs and low-impact design (LEED, Envision)
- Strong leadership skills and interest in business development
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
