      Regional Sales Leader

      Lead and develop a team of 11 Business Developers across the Northwest in a high-impact commercial landscaping organization.

      Location: Must live in the Northwest region to support Northern CA, ID, OR, and WA Business Developers and branches

      Travel: 75% required throughout the region

      This role is designed for a sales leader who prioritizes coaching, value-based selling, and long-term client relationships over transactional or price-driven sales environments.

      Compensation

      Northern California (higher cost market):
      • Base Salary: $125,000 - $150,000
      • Bonus
      • Car Allowance


      Idaho, Oregon, Washington:
      • Base Salary: $120,000 - $145,000
      • Bonus
      • Car allowance to NorCal or Portland, Oregon
      • Bonus tied directly to regional and team performance outcomes

      Experience Needed

      Experienced landscaping sales leader in the Northwest United States, ideally based in Northern California, Washington, Oregon, or Idaho.

      Please apply if you have proven landscaping industry leadership experience leading over $8M in sales pipeline and have led at least 2 Business Developers in the sales process within commercial landscaping and/or snow removal.
      Job Overview

      The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across an assigned region within the landscaping industry. This leader will oversee a team of 11 Business Developers (BDs), providing strategic direction, coaching, and support to meet and exceed sales targets.

      The role requires a strong understanding of the landscaping industry, sales process, and customer relationship management, with a focus on developing new business opportunities and growing existing client relationships.

      Key Responsibilities

      Sales Leadership
      • Lead a team of Business Developers across the region
      • Set clear performance goals and sales targets

      Strategic Planning
      • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives to expand market share and increase revenue

      Coaching and Development
      • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to improve sales effectiveness

      Client Relationship Management
      • Oversee key accounts and support the team in developing new client relationships while expanding existing ones

      Market Analysis
      • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new opportunities

      Reporting and Analytics
      • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to leadership
      • Use data to adjust strategy and improve results

      Collaboration
      • Partner with operations and marketing to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery

      Budget Management
      • Manage the regional sales budget and allocate resources effectively

      Compliance
      • Ensure all sales activities follow company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards


      Requirements

      Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required
      • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership - must be in the landscaping industry
      • Proven track record of managing and developing sales teams to meet or exceed revenue goals
      • Strong knowledge of the landscaping industry (and snow removal), including service offerings, seasonal trends, and client needs
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to travel as needed (75%) within the region
