      WHAT TO EXPECT

      This role sits within the Automated off Road team within Motion Systems & Software Integration in Body Chassis Engineering.

      The teams deliver off road focused customer facing features including Terrain Response, All Terrain Progress Control and 4x4i on Land Rover products.

      The role involves the development and delivery of distributed system which meet the needs of customer. This includes eliciting stakeholder requirements from a range of internal customers, developing logical and physical architectures, and working closely with engineers across a range of vehicle systems. You will also support the delivery of rigorous Functional Safety and Cyber Security content as part of the Systems Engineering process.

      You will work within an Agile product development environment focused on creating value for your stakeholders

      Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

      • Sucsesfull delivery of feature content across the range of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles as part of an agile squad.

      • Delivery of requirements, test cases and verification methods that are driven by Function Requirements and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.

      • Contribute to the delivery of given ferature onto all programmes, in line with the Systems Engineering dicipline outlined by Product Creation Systems

      • Provide technical support and assistance across the operational team on topics relating to the integration and harmonisation of multiple interconnected components including issue resolution and objective data analysis

      • Work with Technical Specialists and Research Engineering on Attribute and Function Forward Strategies, including new Function Definition and Failure Mode Avoidance

      • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

      WHAT YOU NEED

      • Experience in delivering features from concept to a physical product.
      • Good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment
      • Experience in applying Systems Engineering (SYS.2 and SYS.3).
      • Experience in defining logical Functions and writing supporting requirements
      • Experience in defining and writing test cases for Rig and Vehicle work.
      • Experience in delivering physical requirements for cascade to software teams
      • Experience in developing the physical product to meet customer needs
      • Understanding of requirements Management
      • Ability to solve complex technical issues using a structured approach
