  The Data Science team is responsible for modeling complex business problems, discovering business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques. In addition to advanced analytics skills, this role is also proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, architecting specialized database and computing environments, and communicating result.

  Job title: Lead data Scientist

  Exp - 8 -14 Years

  Work Location: Kharadi, Pune

  PURPOSE: This role spans more than one functional area in data & visual analytics such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Sourcing with the strong growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly data oriented, enjoy tackling complex problems and be an effective problem solver. Looking for a technical leader with a passion for learning, finding solutions to diverse challenges and a strong communicator who will build business intelligence & analytics capabilities to the next level. This is an Individual Contributor role.

  Your responsibilities will include

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, develop and guide the entire lifecycle of analytics projects (data modelling, data visualization, reporting, predictive analysis, etc.) from requirements gathering to final project delivery.

  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques across various projects using R & Python.

  • Hands on experience on Supervised and Unsupervised machine learning models.

  • Automating the business processes and work flows using python, Ui Path or any similar software.

  • Develop business insights from analysis and make actionable recommendations.

  • Technical troubleshooting for projects to first time right and on time delivery

  • Identify opportunities for new analysis or efficiency improvements, and plan project resources appropriately

  • Strong stakeholder connect & rapport with business process functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Sourcing.

  • Should have strong thought leadership to drive growth of team and solutions.

  • Support execution and delivery of proof of concepts to expand the portfolio of the team's capabilities.

  • Acquire industry standard tools and techniques related to Business analytics to foster growth.

  • Expected to mentor and coach team members with new technologies related to Analytics.

  TECHNICAL

  1. Python - Master (more on predictive analytics)

  2. SQL - Proficient

  3. Tableau - Proficient

  4. Google Data Studio - Basic

  5. AGILE - Good to Have

  6. R (preferred) (more on predictive analytics)

  7. UI Path (or any Robotic Process Automation) - Good to Have,

  Additional information

  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - B.Tech/B.E, MBA Operations (preferred)

  Certification/ specialization in Data Science / Business Analytics
