      Job Overview

      Overview

      As a member of the Shared Clinical Services team, the Department Business Coordinator uses strong customer service, organization, project management and Microsoft office skills and knowledge to anticipate business needs and provide day-to-day operational support in assigned areas. This may include project coordination, data collection and reporting, administrative support and budget management. This position may also be involved in meeting coordination and facilitation as assigned. The Lead role is also responsible for coordinating the daily work flow and training within the assigned area and will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service problem solving and troubleshooting skills to influence operational objectives and act as a resource for staff and other members of the team. This is not a supervisory or management role.

      Using exceptional collaboration, presentation, communication and organizational skills:

      • Create and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, acting as a liaison between operational units to accomplish organizational goals and objectives
      • Use available technology to provide day-to-day operational support to assigned area
      • Manage data collection, budgeting and recordkeeping to meet compliance, regulatory or operational needs
      • Assure stakeholders are kept informed and are included in the preparation for any planned changes in services, programs, processes and systems as assigned.
      • Assist in managing projects through entire life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure
      • Act as a resource for problem-solving, troubleshooting and coordination of daily workflow, consulting with supervisor if unable to resolve issues.



      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor of Arts in business, healthcare, pharmacy or other related subject or the equivalent of a combination of 6 years education and/or experience
      • 2 years administrative or office management experience using available Microsoft Office to provide day-to-day administrative support

      Preferred Qualifications

      • 3 years experience managing multiple projects and priorities including coordinating day-to-day business operations
