What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise, train, and evaluate yard personnel for safe and efficient equipment operation
- Coordinate daily operations, maintenance, and scheduling with management and other shifts
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and maintain equipment logbooks, reporting malfunctions
- Manage employee schedules, approve timecards, and provide weekly operational updates
- Ensure compliance with DOT, state, local, and in-house regulations during operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
- Experience with making minor repairs and adjustments to operating equipment
- Proficiency in computer operation and electronic controls
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience operating heavy or agricultural equipment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends
