- Develop and maintain investor relationships through touchpoints, updates, and personalized financial partnership opportunities.
- Effectively manage a portfolio of 250 to 600 mid-level and major gift investors, including individuals, organizations, and churches, primarily via phone, email, and mail to achieve set fundraising goals.
- Partner with designated Lead Major Gifts Officers and their teams to steward mid-level investors associated with major gift investors within a given geography.
- Utilize a consultative approach to donor cultivation, aligning with investors’ philanthropic priorities and faith-based commitments.
- Exhibit professionalism and excellence in communication to build trust, respect, and long-term engagement with investors and internal teams.
- Meet and exceed established contact, solicitation, and income benchmarks.
- Reengage lapsed investors and accurately update Salesforce with call notes and investor information.
- Execute follow-up tasks, including mailings, thank-you notes, and prayer requests, while maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce.
- Identify and facilitate the transition of high-capacity investors to the appropriate major gifts officer.
- Accept and integrate investors transitioning from the major gifts program into the structured mid-level program.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of all investors’ contact information into organizational databases, including Salesforce.
- Submit monthly expense reports through the company's reconciliation system.
- Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain the required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies.
- Lead and/or participate in projects or task force groups that focus on issues having organization-wide impact.
- Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
- Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to a God-honoring lifestyle.
- Passion for the Word of God and its accessibility to all people groups.

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, or equivalent professional experience.
- Five to seven years of direct customer interaction experience in fundraising, sales, or customer service.
- Previous management experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong phone communication skills, including a warm tone, clear articulation, and effective pacing.
- Proven ability to build and maintain investor relationships.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact, patience, and professionalism.
- Strong time management and task execution abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and strategic engagement.

SCOPE: The Lead Mid-level Gifts Officer oversees the daily operations of a team of Mid-level Gifts Officers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role is also responsible for cultivating and strengthening relationships and securing gifts with individuals and organizations who can contribute between $2,000 and $20,000 annually to Seed Company initiatives. The Lead Mid-Level and Major Gifts Officer ensures that fundraising objectives are met and optimizes processes that align with Seed Company’s mission and vision.
