      An exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Safeguarding Team as a Lead Nurse for Safeguarding Children & Public Protection. The post is 37.5 hours full time.

      Lead Nurse for Safeguarding & Public Protection

      The post holder will be a member of the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Corporate Safeguarding Team (ABUHB), embracing a person-centred approach and promoting the wellbeing and safety of children and adults.

      Main duties of the job

      We have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Safeguarding team. This post will be primarily supporting the children's agenda with an expectation that they develop knowledge and skills across the whole agenda over time.The post holder will work alongside other members of the Safeguarding Team, supporting the Head of Safeguarding in leading safeguarding best practice to enable Health Board employees to fulfill their roles and statutory responsibilities.The post holder will also be required to utilise their specialist knowledge and skills to provide guidance, support, safeguarding supervision and training to Health Professionals.The post holder will represent ABUHB at multi agency meetings in respect of safeguarding issues.

      The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
