- Conduct phlebotomy and charge at blood drives
- Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the blood you collect meets regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused
- Remain flexible to work a highly variable schedule that includes early start times, late end times, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of our blood drive sponsors and donors
- Drive for results and to serve others with a high level of respect for customer service
- Be a model of professionalism and compassion while serving as an ambassador to the public for the nation’s largest not-for-profit blood banking organization

Requirements
The American Red Cross requires all new hires be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, except in states where it is prohibited by law. About this Role
We’re looking for experienced phlebotomists to accompany us on blood drives throughout the community. As a lead phlebotomist, you’ll focus on customer service and compassion, working and making connections with healthy, happy blood donors. You will lead a team, draw blood and, on occasion, supervise blood drives. We work hard when we’re on the road and need someone who can accommodate a highly flexible schedule. You should also be comfortable performing venipuncture.
