What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a Privacy Analyst, interpreting privacy vulnerabilities and developing remediation plans
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws, state policies, and regulations for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
- Develop, review, and implement critical IT privacy and business practices
- Work on projects to reduce risk and enhance privacy protection
- Collaborate with the IT Manager and other team members to improve the user experience of DMV technology products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available for scheduled work shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Background investigation clearance required prior to hire
- Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory
- Must have completed the Minimum Qualifications as stated in the Class Specification for Information Technology Specialist I
- Previous experience in privacy compliance or information security preferred

- Familiarity with emerging technologies and privacy protection strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to IT privacy issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
