      About the team and the role:

      eBay, Inc. seeks Lead Product Manager, Technical in San Jose, CA

      What you will accomplish:

      Job Duties: Drive innovative and bold product ideas to drive long-term, sustainable growth in eBay’s collectibles category. Formulate and execute product roadmap with a constant obsession to define and solve customer problems. Own the planning and execution of a portfolio of products. Deliver on key strategic priorities and build a forward-looking plan to achieve business goals. Build a fast-moving culture in close partnership with Research, Design, Engineering, and Business leadership. Partner with a variety of cross-domain Product Managers across the organization (Selling, Buying, Payments, etc.) to help craft the vision of the Collectibles Team. Collaborate with senior leadership across eBay’s Product and Business organizations to align plans with partners in the core Product and Technology teams as well as within the teams across functions: Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Strategy. Full-time telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

      What you will bring:

      Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

      Special Skill Requirements:

      1. Experience designing and developing large-scale software applications (3 years)
      2. Experience with leading an Agile Scrum team inclusive of backlog grooming and sprint planning (3 years)
      3. Experience with working at a large global organization with many cross functional teams (3 years)
      4. Deep understanding of the ecommerce world, being able to fully understand buyer and seller needs (3 years)
      5. Experience in driving innovation from the ideation phase through prototyping all the way to production (3 years)
      6. Experience in building and presenting Product Strategy and Product Roadmaps to senior leadership (3 years)
      7. Experience with building strong and trusted relationships with supporting functions (engineering, design, analytics, research etc) to drive a cross functional team working together to solve customer problems (3 years)
      8. Software testing methodologies and test results analysis (3 years)
      9. Experience in prioritization and decision making based on data powered by research or analytics (3 years)
      10. Experience in driving complex planning processes from Annual planning to Quarterly planning to Sprint planning (3 years)

      Salary: $179,171.00-262,900.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

      Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
