What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead multi-discipline projects from pre-construction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout
- Manage client relationships and expectations, providing timely progress and cost updates
- Own project scope, schedule, budget, and performance metrics; maintain baselines and critical paths
- Oversee subcontractor execution and support claims and dispute resolution
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, plus relevant construction experience
- 15+ years in the construction industry with progressive leadership, including managing multiple projects
- Nuclear project experience is mandatory
- Proven supervision of construction teams and management of clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience delivering under EPC and general contractor (GC) contract models
- Hands-on use of project controls (cost, schedule, change, risk) on large construction projects
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and health requirements for large industrial construction sites
- Strong client relationship-building abilities and effective communication skills
- Workforce planning experience, including staffing plans and selection processes
