What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and oversee the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program for all project phases
- Conduct regular audits of contractor activities to ensure compliance with design documents and project specifications
- Monitor the proper storage and maintenance of materials and equipment for quality assurance
- Document test and inspection observations, including any deviations or non-conformances
- Compile and report quality audit results and performance metrics to project management and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, operations, and maintenance within the power generation industry
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to power plant construction and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the United States
- Acceptable Certifications: NCCER welding/pipefitter, AWS-SCWI, AWS-CRI, ASNT Level II VT
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven track record of successful projects in the power generation industry
- Familiarity with ASME code welding and National Boiler Vessel repair alterations
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams
