      Clementine West Linn, located in West Linn, OR is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

      At Clementine, we support adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery by preparing each adolescent to navigate the challenges of life free of the eating disorder. We provide the empathy, education, and support to families as partners in the recovery process. We help each adolescent to replace the eating disorder with healthy skills and a deep understanding of how to live a life that reflects their own unique individuality.

      The Lead Recovery Coach position is responsible for providing direct patient support as well as therapeutic interventions. Therapeutic interventions will be conducted in adherence to the philosophy and principles of Monte Nido & Affiliates. They are also responsible for providing support and training of Recovery Coaches.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Responsible for providing a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
      • Responsible for transporting patients to and from facility safely and in a timely manner, in a vehicle that is provided by facility.
      • Will possess both a clean driving record, as well as clean background check.
      • Monitors patient safety (including eating disordered behaviors) during the program day and intervenes with recovery-focused directives when appropriate.
      • Participates in and monitors daily meals and snacks with patients, including the preparation of said meals. Facilitates Meal Pre-Planning and Meal Process Groups.
      • Monitors bathroom activities and break times during the day.
      • Monitors patient safety throughout the night shift. This includes conducting 15 to 30-minute safety checks.
      • Facilitates and monitors patient safety in daily and weekly outings for meals as well as group activities.
      • Documents in daily reports and patient meal logs, all information, interactions, communications, behaviors and interventions in a timely fashion.
      • Participates in weekly to bi-weekly staff meetings to continue personal and professional growth as well as building cohesion amongst the treatment team.
      • Works in collaboration with the Program Manager to ensure information from staff meetings is relayed to the recovery coaches.
      • Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of a patient’s total needs as a person, and addresses psychosocial, physical, developmental, spiritual, and cultural issues as appropriate for each individual.
      • Adheres to the designated work schedule, is timely, and pre-arranges for any vacations/absences from the facility.
      • Has working knowledge of the facility’s fire, disaster, and infection control programs.
      • Handles scheduling of Recovery Coaches and secures coverage or provides coverage in the event of a call-off or void in collaboration with the Program Manager.
      • Handles training and support of Recovery Coaches at hire and ongoing.
      • Facilitates in collaboration with the Program Manager, at minimum monthly Recovery Coach meetings.
      • Adheres to and follows the Monte Nido & Affiliates policies and procedures.
      • Uses tact and sensitivity in communicating effectively and respectfully with patients, families, co-workers and all others.
      • Provides for maintenance of confidentiality of patient records and communications.
      • Maintains the values and philosophy of the mission statement of the Monte Nido & Affiliates.
      • Recommends quality and/or process improvement initiatives in order to more effectively and efficiently perform the job functions of this position.
      • This position will require that you are available for On-Call when necessary and pick up voids/call offs.
      • In an emergency or declared state of emergency, may be required to stay onsite as a part of the emergency team until emergency has ended
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      If a site has not been assigned a Program Manager, the following duties will be assigned or altered.

      • Works in collaboration with the Program Manager to ensure information from staff meetings is relayed to the recovery coaches.

      Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or GED; Bachelors degree preferred
      • Two (2) years of experience in a health-related field is highly desired
      • Valid state-issued Driver’s License with safe driving history
      • CPR certification required, or within 90 days of hire
