- Responsible for selling - Systems Solution VSDS, MV Drives, MV Motors, Generators, services, or projects with responsibility on multiple segments (General Industry, Power, Water, Metals & Mining, O&G, Marine & Offshore, cement etc.).
- Will be the Reginal Sales Spearhead position with focus on regions to sell the GE product.
- Ensure customer is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase. This way can establish new accounts for GE.
- Work closely with Application Engineering and Global sales team to provide optimum Techno- Commercial proposal.
- Requires specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Requires commercial awareness and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources and customer outcome discussions.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends standard methodologies to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of current industry trends that may inform work. build long term relationships and build value-based pipeline.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Need overall Experiences in Power Systems, AC/DC Drives, System Engineering for MV Drives, Motors, MV Switchgear, Transformer, Cabling & Automation systems.
- Need experience in handling complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to partners or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a direction
- Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Should be comfortable working in a matrixed arrangement - working seamlessly with global and local cross functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of Industry experience of relevant sales/commercial experience in Tier 1 Organization in Electrical Machinery/ Power Electronics Segments. An MBA will be an added qualification.
- Should have significant experience in the Sales & Commercials with top industry customers & decision making levels.
- The person should have good oral and written communication skills, should be able to collaborate and work with Cross functional teams
- Should have demonstrated problem solving abilities, Program/ Project Management
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Ability to multitask and change priorities based on business needs to consistently meet and exceed company and customer goal
- Capable of working with multi-disciplined international team with good personal organization skills.
- Experience in working in cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to effectively lead and guide people
- Strong problem solving, business and analytical abilities
- Willing to travel on short notice within base country in Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala and overseas for short/long term assignments.

He/She shall work in conjunction with the Application team as an instrumental to achieve the required outcomes and identify and advise to technical team to provide reliable and optimum solutions to customer for strategical wining.
