What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with business and functional teams to provide tailored technical solutions
- Support knowledge transfer to deliver value-adding consulting solutions
- Manage patching and system parameter configurations for servers and landscapes
- Oversee performance metrics and troubleshooting related to consulting documentation
- Handle freeze periods, emergency changes, and system decommissioning during upgrades and migrations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to security clearance for handling sensitive data
- Experience with SAP ECC, BW, GRC, Solution Manager, and SQL/Max DB databases
- Strong analytical, communication, planning, and coordination skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least 7 years of experience in detailed patching and system parameter configuration
- Experience with SAP ERP on HANA, SAP SLT, and Content Server on MaxDB
- Proficiency in problem management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Solution Manager Alert setup and other functionalities
- Familiarity with Release and Transport Management concepts and processes
