What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) functions and technology tools to ensure security and efficiency
- Monitor the organization's information assets, systems, and infrastructure, proactively identifying and responding to potential threats
- Conduct threat hunting campaigns, incident management, malware and forensics analysis, and information dissemination
- Provide cyber threat and vulnerability intelligence to enhance security measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess website application security vulnerabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be eligible for appointment and have authorization to work in the United States
- Proven experience in event and log analysis/triage, and SIEM solutions
- Familiarity with IPS/IDS, enterprise network communications hardware, and software systems
- Strong knowledge of patch and vulnerability management, server and desktop protections, and endpoint management
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are highly valued
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven experience in scripting and programming languages
- Familiarity with virtual and cloud computing environments
- Expertise in proxy servers and mainframe systems
- Experience in conducting threat hunting campaigns and incident management
