What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs
- Write code adhering to established coding standards and perform code reviews
- Generate ideas and implement technical solutions to achieve product features while ensuring functionality and performance
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, assist in sprint planning, and complete development sprints
- Mentor other software engineers and oversee the resolution of complex technical issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and scalable systems
- At least 5 years of experience in two or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
- 5 years of experience with web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, and JSON
- Proven ability to define system architectures and optimize technical capabilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven experience in a lead engineering role with technical leadership capabilities
- Strong proficiency in backend development using Python and related frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Frontend development expertise using ReactJS and associated technologies
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
