What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs
- Write code that adheres to coding standards and perform code reviews
- Generate ideas and implement technical solutions to achieve product features
- Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning
- Mentor other software engineers and support their professional development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in design and analysis of algorithms and scalable systems
- At least 5 years of experience in two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, and JSON
- Proven ability to define system architectures and optimize technical capabilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a lead engineering role with demonstrated technical leadership
- Proficiency in backend development using Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Frontend development experience using ReactJS, NextJS, and related technologies
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
