What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs
- Write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews
- Generate ideas and implement technical solutions to achieve product features
- Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning
- Mentor other software engineers and support their professional development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and analyzing algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- At least 5 years of experience in two modern programming languages, including Python and JavaScript
- 5 years of experience with web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, and JSON
- Proven ability to define system architectures and explore technical feasibility trade-offs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in backend development using Python frameworks like Django and Flask
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Frontend development experience using ReactJS, NextJS, and JestJS
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
