- Leadership: You lead a learning design team and drive their engagement and performance.
- Stakeholder Relationships: You build and cultivate relationships with Enterprise Learning leadership and the broader ADP Learning communities of practice, knowledge management, product development, and other stakeholder groups critical to the success of this position.
- Innovation: You seek opportunities to apply innovative design thinking to your projects and will work to keep ADP's approach to designing learning up to date with the products and solutions ADP offers its clients.
- Flexibility and Agility: You can adapt to changing business requirements, projects, and resources and use agile approaches to meeting business needs.
- Design: You'll design holistic solutions engaging team members and business partners in the design process to ensure the solution design is flexible and addresses the unique needs of the learners, while also identifying reuse and linkage opportunities across course content. Solution design should consider long term risks to methods and models of tool and design use and implementation.
- Development: You can develop solutions across a broad set of learning modalities and tools without creating redundant solutions and ensure that continuous learning and performance support concepts are applied.
- Learning Outcomes: You leverage data to measure outcomes and ensure our learning solutions result in the intended business impact.
- Continuous Learner: You have a focus on your own personal development as well as your team's development. You maintain an outside-in perspective by building networks inside and outside ADP and you keep up to date on learning trends.
- Instructional design certification
- Familiarity with digital adoption platforms and knowledge management methodologies
- Knowledge of standard eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, TechSmith SnagIt, Audacity, and Vyond
- Experience using a Learning Management System (i.e., Litmos)
- Familiarity with programming fundamentals: HTML, CSS or JavaScript, BBcode
- Comfort with browser consoles, troubleshooting JQuery commands

Description
ADP is hiring a Manager, Learning Design.
In this role, you will lead a team of instructional designers responsible for the analysis, design - development of modern learning experiences for our associates who support our clients and for our clients who leverage our products to achieve business success. You will partner with the Director, Learning Design to execute our learning strategies to provide innovative solutions that drive confidence and productivity and support continuous improvement through industry research and end user feedback and analysis. In particular, this role will focus on innovative ways to integrate knowledge management and performance support into the design of global learning solutions to create the right balance of formal and informal learning that supports learners as they build job proficiency.
No two days are the same. You will contribute to our strategy, build relationships with your stakeholders and engage your team through talent planning and development. You will collaborate closely with your global peers and team members to achieve Enterprise Learning's goals. You will support the design and deployment of compelling content that addresses needs across multiple business lines. You will do this all to the highest standards with an eye on appealing to multi-generational talent and the modern learner and by partnering across the learning organization to apply innovative techniques in instructional design.
To thrive in the role, you have 5+ years of experience in the learning - development field with people management. You have worked to align strategy with global learning solutions to achieve desired outcomes across business units. It would be best to be a continuous learner who focuses on professional development of self and others and business process improvement to enhance design standards. The work you do will help our businesses support our clients who employ one to millions of employees.

A college degree is not required but could set you apart. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job. You will need 5+ years of experience in instructional development, adult learning theory, as well as experience managing people.
