As the Learning Portfolio Delivery Manager for Guided Learning Experiences, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, large-scale Guided Learning Experiences within the IBM SkillsBuild program in IBM Corporate Social Responsibility. Your role is critical in ensuring these experiences not only meet the current educational strategy but also exceed them by innovating and adapting to future learning landscapes. IBM SkillsBuild is on a mission to engage 30 million learners on the platform by 2030. We know that Guided Learning Experiences fuel engagement and impact our learners’ success.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Strategy Development:
• Formulate and execute strategies for large-scale Guided Learning Experiences (GLEs), ensuring they align with broader organizational goals and industry standards.
• Lead the strategic development and refinement of learning pathways, including PBLs (Project-Based Learning) capstone projects, webinars and other guided experiences that engage SkillsBuild learners.
• Work with the team’s Data Analytics/Service Designer to capture and analyse data to support the continuous improvement of GLEs.
Implementation Managers Enablement:
• Lead the team of global implementation managers to implement and enhance the use of our Guided Learning Experiences within the geos.
• Work with the Global Delivery Project Management and Quality Lead to track and enhance the opportunities delivered by the geos.
• Work with the Data Analytics/Service Designer to enable the messaging to the geos, improving the way we are enabling the IM’s to support their geos.
Vendor Management:
• Oversee vendor relationships and strategies, encompassing demand planning, contract management, and delivery oversight.
• Ensure that selected vendors are strategically aligned with the program’s needs and quality benchmarks.
• Work innovatively with vendors to create new GLEs focusing on effective ROI and positive impact to the geos.
Team Leadership:
• Act as a team leader, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and collective problem-solving.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the Implementation Managers, promoting personal development and professional growth.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure we deliver high-quality work consistently by regularly reviewing and gathering feedback.
• Conduct detailed validation of materials, from inception through execution, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Liaise with multiple departments to coordinate and align on program delivery, content creation, and service design.
• Work in tandem with operations, finance, and legal teams to manage budgets, SOWs (Statements of Work), POs (Purchase Orders), and contracts efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptive mindset with the ability to work in complex and changing environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on mentorship and teamwork.
