      Guardian Management has a need for a Full - Time Leasing Manager to join our team at the Yards at Union Station !

      The Yards at Union Station is an affordable (LIHTC) apartment community with 457 units located in Portland, OR.

      The Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all leasing activities at the property, ensuring high occupancy and resident satisfaction while supervising the leasing team. This role includes strategic planning, staff development, and coordination with maintenance and management to ensure timely unit readiness and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.

      Schedule: 40 hours / week

      Compensation: $26.70 - $27.81 / hr Dependent on experience + benefits!

      Minimum Qualification Requirements

      The requirements listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

      1. High school diploma or GED; college degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
      2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leasing, property management, or sales, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership role.
      3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
      4. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
      5. Ability to lead, train, and motivate the leasing team.
      6. Ability to complete company training requirements within pre-determined deadlines.
      7. Prior experience with lease-ups required.
      8. Strong written and communication skills
      9. 1-3 years of multifamily housing industry experience is required.

      Preferred Qualifications

      The qualifications listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

      1. Experience with affordable housing programs and compliance.
      2. Familiarity and comfortability with social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and willingness to lead and or manage property social media, as needed.
      3. Strong mathematical skills, analytical and reporting skills.

      Essential Functions*

      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

      1. Always represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
      2. Support Community Managers efforts to ensure that the company’s efforts fully meet and exceed property management obligations.
      3. Collaborate with the Community manager to lead daily leasing operations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws.
      4. Coordination and completion of all lease-up projects with the property office team
      5. Oversee unit readiness, including coordination with maintenance and vendors.
      6. Conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and ensure a high-quality leasing experience.
      7. Monitor leasing metrics and prepare reports for Community and Portfolio Managers.
      8. Collaborate with leasing agent and marketing to implement outreach strategies and maintain online presence.
      9. Manage resident relations, including renewals, concerns, and retention efforts.
      10. Ensure accurate and timely completion of leasing documents and reports.
      11. Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.
      12. Follow confidentiality guidelines for all resident, property, owner, and Guardian information at all times.
      13. Accurately record time worked, adhere to time keeping guidelines daily.
      14. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships between departments and with coworkers.
      15. Constantly strive for improvements in work process and results to better meet resident needs, ownership goals and objectives, and company standards and expectations.
      16. Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Portfolio Manager.
