      POSITION PURPOSE:
      This position is responsible for the Leave Management Program at an enterprise-wide level.
      IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
      Experience
      * 5+ years of Human Resources experience in leave management and administration, supporting an exempt and non-exempt population of 5,000+ employees.
      * 5+ years HRIS and leave management systems experience.
      * Experience with project management, including implementation of best practices to improve the business and employee experience.
      Skills
      * Deep knowledge and understanding of FMLA, ADA and other applicable federal, state, and local laws relevant to leave of absence programs. Ability to remain abreast of changing legislation and apply it to current company practices and policies.
      * Ability to build effective business relationships, as well as interact with all levels of employees within the organization and vendor community.
      * Ability to read, analyze and interpret leave plan documents and effectively communicate polices and requirements.
      * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
      * Strong planning and attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
      * Exhibit utmost discretion in handling confidential information.
      * Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients (managers, employees, HR) and providers (vendors).
      * The ability to actively contribute as a team player, with both the immediate Benefits team, as well as assigned cross-functional teams.
      * Excellent computer skills in a network environment such as Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom and Sharepoint.
      Education
      * Bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline preferred (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education).
      * Leave Management or HR Certification is a plus
      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
      * Collaborate with consultants, leadership, and HR Business Partners to develop, implement, administer, and maintain comprehensive employee benefit leave policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations.
      * Counsel employees, supervisors, managers, and applicable vendors on leave programs, maintaining reasonable communication with employees and internal partners throughout the leave, while providing clarity as to respective responsibilities and expectations throughout the leave.
      * Partner with HR and business leaders to develop modified work schedules or return to work accommodations connected to a leave of absence, when applicable.
      * Evaluate existing leave programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness and trends, and develop solutions for enhancement within budget.
      * Develop and facilitate communications and training relevant to federal, state, local, and company leave programs for all levels of the organization.
      * Manage relationship with leave and TPA vendors, responding in a timely and professional manner, escalating on topics when necessary and appropriate.
      * Create and maintain accurate leave of absence tracking within and outside the vendor platform as needed. Provide accurate reporting on status of leaves, trends, and escalations.
      * Develop understanding of other company benefits available to employees on leave, as well as any financial responsibilities, i.e., benefits premiums they will incur while on leave.
      * Maintain confidentiality of employee communications, medical documentation and files, while maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive company and employee data.
      * Manage daily file feeds from 3rd party vendor. Collaborate with payroll to ensure seamless coordination throughout the leave management process.
      * Serve as an escalation point for leave management related issues, raising unresolved or escalated issues to HR leadership and/or the vendor, as applicable.
      * Oversee other company related time-off programs as assigned.
      * Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to established budgets.
      * This position may have supervisory responsibilities.
      * Other duties as assigned to support the initiatives of the Corporate Benefits Team and the organization.
      SCOPE & EXPECTATIONS:
      * Schedule: This position based in the corporate office and is considered to be a hybrid role with in-office requirements 3 days per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. Minimal evening and weekend work may be required.
      * Travel: There may be a requirement to occasionally visit a manufacturing or service center facility.
      * Work Environment: The noise level in the corporate office is usually moderate.
      * Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk and hear. Lifting requirements are typically less than 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.
      * Reports to: Director, Total Rewards
