      Job Description Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Legal and Compliance Project Manager are management or various routine and ad hoc projects, assistance with monthly OIG screenings, and administrative and corporate support, in concert with our values: trustworthy, capable, compassionate, proactive, and called.       Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
      1) Provide support to the General Counsel and other Home Office stakeholders, as well as all Regional leaders and branch offices, on a variety of legal, compliance, licensure, operational and administrative matters.
      2) Support the Contracts Manger and Legal Assistance with overflow work for routine branch-facility contracts as well as medical records requests.
      3) Assist with corporate governance matters, manage corporate records, and prepare board materials, as requested.
      4) Submission of employee, vendor and physician information for monthly screening against federal and state sanction lists. This includes providing any follow-up information when requested in order to rule out flagged individual or organization and reporting results timely to the VP of Compliance.
      5) Assist with routine and time-sensitive ad hoc projects.
      6) Maintain updated and organized files and trackers with consistent naming conventions.
      7) Provide general administrative support to the Legal and Compliance departments as needed.
      8) Help ensure the organization complies with all relevant federal and state statutes and regulations, working closely with the Compliance team.
      9) Performs all other duties as assigned.

      What you Bring1) Demonstrates current working knowledge of healthcare operations, federal and state regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines for health care providers, with a preference for such experience in the Home Health and Hospice space.
      2) Paralegal certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies, Healthcare or Business Administration, Compliance, Management or a related field strongly preferred.
      3) Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organization skills.
      4) Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Paralegal or compliance support personnel in the healthcare industry, with a preference for Home Health and Hospice specific experience.
      5) Current driver's license in state of residence, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance.
      6) Strong knowledge of legal and healthcare terminology is required.
      7) Proficiency in research and document drafting.
      8) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
      9) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
      10) Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities.
      11) Ability to travel to Home Office or branch locations upon occasional request.
      12) Commitment to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive patient and company information.
      13) Self-starter and ability to work independently and produce a consistent quality work product, with little supervision.
