      The EPIC Legal Assistant we are looking for:

      We are seeking a skilled and dedicated legal assistant to support us in upholding our exceptional standards. The legal assistant, as the latest member of our team, will be essential in ensuring the office operates smoothly, handling tasks such as coordinating meetings and maintaining thorough and precise files. They will be overseeing and prioritizing a range of tasks and deliverables for the department. This individual will establish collaborative working relationships with our attorneys and gain the trust of our clients. The perfect candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, a diligent work ethic, and the ability to function effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team. This position presents a demanding set of responsibilities along with significant opportunities for professional growth.

      Requirements

      Requirements:
      • Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
      • Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents, such as motions or letters of intent
      • Engage in business due diligence duties as a merchant.
      • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers' calendars, scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation
      • Create and maintain case files, including producing and editing transcripts
      • Screen, direct, and prioritize incoming calls and emails to lawyers
      • Perform legal and background research when requested
      • Ability to pay close attention to detail and be self-motivated
      • Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment
      • Beginner / Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft excel

      Salary Description

      $75,000-$90,000, dependent on experience.
