      **What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
      - Provide information and research assistance to users of City records, including current and historical legislation
      - Staff a service desk, assisting City employees and the public with inquiries
      - Guide customers in utilizing the Office of the City Clerk's resources and tools
      - Assist with public records requests and manage various documents in multiple formats
      - Participate in teams to improve processes and enhance access to information

      **What is Required (Qualifications):**
      - One year of college coursework in research methods and data analysis, plus two years of data collection and analysis experience
      - One year of research and reference experience in a library or similar information service
      - One year of experience indexing legal or historical documents
      - Two years of experience in research and reference work related to government topics
      - Strong experience with digital image and audio files management

      **How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
      - Experience working with controlled vocabularies for indexing complex materials
      - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe products
      - Excellent keyboarding skills with a typing speed of at least 50 WPM
      - Ability to discern customer information needs effectively
      - Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service
