What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently review and analyze assigned auto claims to determine applicable coverages and settlement calculations
- Investigate coverage and issue applicable coverage letters
- Gather documentation to support claimed damages through communication with customers, vendors, and police departments
- Negotiate settlements based on documentation, discussions, and policy language
- Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Adjuster licenses in states requiring them
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- 1-5 years of Commercial and/or Personal Lines Auto experience
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree preferred
- Industry training/designations preferred
- Understanding of Garage Auto/Auto Dealer policy language and endorsements preferred
